22A – Elevator Pitch No. 3

Here is my third elevator pitch for my coffee bike in ENT3003:

Reflection:
Reading through the feedback on my previous elevator pitch was quite interesting. The reason for this is that it was all positive. I didn't receive any modification suggestions so I sent my video to Professor Pryor. Pryor helped me with focusing on why my coffee bike will have a shorter wait time (if any). Learning what I didn't talk about in my pitch that I needed to mention in the next pitch was super beneficial to me. This was the reason why this pitch turned out better than the previous two in my opinion.

Based on this feedback, I focused my time on showing why my coffee bike would have far smaller wait times than my competitors, stores like Starbucks. This was something I hadn't touched on in previous elevator pitches. Another thing I sought to focus on was practical information. For example, where I would make the coffee for my stand and that my coffee products will be pre-made and pre-packaged to speed up wait times. I included where I would go with my coffee bike to sell on-campus, mentioning Turlington and Plaza of the Americas which I didn't have last time. These were things I added due to the comments/feedback that I received.

  1. Hi Cason!

As always, great job. I have seen all three of your elevator pitches (thank you for linking them) and I can definitely see the improvement. You have a knack for these things and I think this turned out really good. It is definitely beneficial to focus on why your product is different from others, because that is what really caught my attention during your speech. Great job.

  2. Hello Cason,

    Great job on this!

It’s evident that you are much more confident in your pitch which enhances the idea that you are also confident in your entrepreneurial idea.

I love that you actively and intentionally reached out to Professor Pryor to get more concrete feedback for improvement. I believe his feedback for highlighting why the coffee bike wait time would be shorter was an excellent point and definitely enhanced your pitch.

    Thank you for sharing!

  3. Cason,

Good job on your final pitch! I can tell you put a lot of thought and effort into making it. It's good that professor Pryor could help you out and provide some helpful feedback. Personally, I would love to buy from a coffee bike as it is very convenient and quick.

  4. Hi Cason! Great elevator pitch! I think you have an amazing idea for students who always find themselves on the go and need something like coffee. Your introduction was great, you definitely hooked the audience in by relating it to something we all understand. I always enjoyed how you explained what techniques you applied to make selling the coffee as quick and efficient as possible. Great job!
